LEGO® Sent 1000 Astronauts Into the Stratosphere!

Unfortunately, the figures did not cross the conventional boundary of space, but the view from the camera is still impressive. The brick astronauts were sent on a special mission using a stratospheric balloon, the kind often used in meteorology. A special platform was also designed, and it had to withstand overloads and carry 1000 minifigures upward. 🚀

The balloon with the legonauts rose to an altitude of 34 km, then burst as planned and the parachute took over. This is not the first action of this kind, because 11 years earlier a Canadian ran a similar experiment:

There is, however, one significant difference: this mission sent as many as 1000 LEGO® minifigures! 😮
The figures will also be given away in a receipt lottery in Czechia and Slovakia.
More details are supposed to be announced soon.
